Its form is unapologetically strong. Cut, bent, and assembled from 2MM 320-grit stainless steel, the stand draws aesthetic and structural inspiration from military and marine engineering. The circular perforations along its flanks recall PSP (Pierced Steel Planking) — the steel mats used to build runways and roads in the field. Functional, efficient, and iconic, they represent a kind of toughness that transcends time.

The integrated eye bolt and carabiner are not ornamental. They are borrowed from marine and industrial rigging systems — meant for quick deployment, built to endure pressure and corrosion, and repurposed here to ground the piece in a language of readiness and resilience.

At the rear, a single accent punctuates the steel: the studio’s product tag in 3020 Signal Red. This flash of color cuts through the material honesty like a warning light or an emergency signal — a deliberate disruption, a signature of intent.

This bookstand holds more than books. It holds presence. It elevates the object placed upon it, framing knowledge as something to be displayed, honored, and passed on.
